Comments : Agree with much of Ian's comments. Whereas segregation ought not to be necessary, it is nice to be with your own supporters. Helps when used as a neutral venue for semi finals, when segregation would prevent opposition fans spitting at you when you are sandwiched between two tiers of their fans. Never found parking a problem whenever I visited, either in Holt End, North End or on street. Makes a vast difference trying to get away though.

Comments : Firstly I think the ground is a good one, the view is also very good, much better being at an elevated height in my opinion. I have sat in a few locations in the stand as I have been to England matches there as well, so I can comment on the view from both ends.

I disagree with Mark Wilson, that needing a RADAR key is absurd. It is not, it prevents people who don't need to use disabled toilets from doing so, and at least you don't get locked in, which happened to me at Newcastle.

My only complaint, which may seem strange coming from a home fan, is that there is no away disabled seating, in the away end, I can see where it could be placed but the club seem to ignore my suggestions, that should be looked at, and should in my opinion be a requirement of all grounds, I mean if I was able to walk then I wouldn't be allowed in the home end if I was an away fan, would I?

Comments :By no means the worst view in football, provided no 6 footer stands in front of you. No problem with RADAR key, steward armed with key and we all carry our own key don't we?Big big problem handling abuse from opposition supporters above and below us and of course the inevitable delay before being released from Holte End car park. Park further away and wear out your helper and save 40 minutes

Event : Everton

Comments : Villa have at last upgraded their facilities. The new disabled area is at the back of the lower tier of the new Main Stand. The architects very nearly (but not quite) got this right. Generally its a very good view but your sightline can still be easily obscured by people standing in front of you at vital moments......a great shame this as the design is really quite a decent effort. Facilities are good but that requirement for a RADAR key to use the disabled loo is absurd given the type of venue. Car parking is not stunning but off-street stuff is reasonably close providing you get there early and the club try to help out sometimes with the odd pass or two. Try to approach disabled area from the holt End and avoid the small Mountain that passes for a "ramp" at the away end !

Probably an 8 out of 10 for this one...

Event : Watford versus Saints (FA Cup Semi)
Comments :
Comments : Nice ground.
Disabled viewing area half way up stands, so good view of game.
Plenty of disabled toilets around ground, but a Radar key is needed.
Only downside, Villa Park is in Birmingham, and traffic was awful after the game.

Another ground where you are in with the home fans, not the best of places for a local derby!
