Comments :
I am bringing this matter to the attention of all as it is of great concern. The club has dispensed with the St John Ambulance and brought in a cowboy private ambulance firm instead. The West Midlands Ambulance Service who have also provided a sterling service have now refused to attend the ground with their paramedics whilst this firm is present. The Chief Executive of the West Midlands Ambulance Service and senior members of Birmingham City Council have all registered their protests with club management. It remains to be seen as to what the response will be

Comments :
Terrible ground, the disabled facilities for away fans are appalling. The pitchside seats are located on a gravel track which gets muddy when wet and creates loads of mess. Was in the upper section this season, view OK. However drawback was lift was in Home area and when eventually let out was required to go all round the ground to get back to my car. And the stewards took forever to get another bloke to walk me through, that was not helpful. As for parking, the situation was ok for the first derby with disabled Villa fans being able to park in Away car park. However subsequent times I have been told that even though I use a wheelchair I cannot park in there. If you can't park in there I suggest you park in the McDonalds car park, though the hill is steep.

Comments : Parking for away supporters was a quick phone call to DSA man who said get here early, parking in away coaches park. It was so, but the £5 charge had not been mentioned. Delay leaving while coaches readied but then a nice follow of the police escorted coaches got us to motorway easily

Comments :
Our Branch was asked to pay £15 simply to park the coach outside the ground for the FA cup 5th round replay. No charge was made for Birmingham fans outside the Stadium of Light, and with clubs already making enough money out of fans we found the cost simply unacceptable. As a branch we'll be making an official protest to the club.

(Editor's note: another email came shortly after this was posted. It is added for the benefit of clubs attending in the future.)
With regard to the comments posted re- coach parking - we've been informed the £15 charge was an oversight by a Steward and the fee is to be returned.
