Best access for disabled wheelchair and ambulant supporters is Warwick Road end, where disabled seating is very close to access to stand for loo and concessions. Stewards very helpful, finding under cover seating for wheelchair users whenever possible (it rains a lot in Carlisle). I don't arrive by car so can't vouch for the new car park but haven't heard any complaints so far. The Ticket People Were Very Quick And Professional. We Always Go In The Warwick Road End And I Found The Stewards To Be Very Pleasent And Weren't Stopping You From Having A Good Time, e.g. Chanting, Slagging Off Opposition Players And Fans. Date submitted : Wednesday 10th Nov 2004 By : GARY WILSON When visited Brunton Park : OCTOBER 2004 Event : BARNET Comments : I returned to Carlisle as a home fan for the 1st time in 10 years. There is Free Parking available at the back of the East Stand on rough ground. This parking is unreserved so I would recommend you arrive at the ground at least an hour before kick off. I found the Stewards to be very helpful and considerate.I am a Ambulant Disabled Supporter who cannot walk up steps and the stewards allowed Myself, Son and 2 Nephews to walk pitchside to front row seats in the East stand. Date submitted : Wednesday 3rd Mar 2004 By : Irvin Morris (DLO) When visited Brunton Park : Saturday 17th January, 2004 Event : Yeovil Town Comments : Rough Ground to Entrances for Away Supporters make it very difficult for both Wheel Chair and Ambulant Disabled Supporters. Ambulant Disabled Supporters have further difficulties in reaching their seats with the amount of narrow steps they have to climb. Causes additional problem for those suffering with walking difficulties, breathing or heart problems. Requires to be addressed in order to comply with DDA Part III which comes into force on 1.10.04
