Date submitted : Saturday 13th Mar 2010 By : Michael Turner When visited Old Trafford : 1996 Event : versus Comments : Comments :
Have received great comments from the lads from Headley Court for the way they have been hosted.
It's one thing being the biggest club in the world, but praise has to be given to the DSA staff.
Date submitted : Tuesday 5th Jan 2010 By : ANDY MORECAMBE When visited Old Trafford : 3/1/10 Event : Leeds United Comments : First visit using wheelchair went by coach, stopped at a club on way.Parked at coach park opposite the main shop. level acess to ground inside level acess a mixed lounge for home and away beer and food and all very red lol level to viewing point in corner behind goal away fans behind was mixed but not a problem great view, plenty of toilets all good. if you can get parking next to ground which I think is posible by contacting Phil Downs then this ground is fine to go without a helper.pains me to say it but one of best set ups I been to would prefer to be in with away fans so a 9 out of ten
Date submitted : Tuesday 20th Feb 2007 By : G.C. When visited Old Trafford : Feb 2007 Event : versus Reading Comments : Disabled seats are several rows up in the east stand - with both home and away fans disabled fans together. Nice view and no restrictions but slightly disappointed that the away allotment for non-disabled away fans wasn't in the same area.
Steward help in and around the ground was superb and you get a free parking space assigned to you in the nearest parking lot (E2- E1). Parking spaces are of non-disabled size so you might have to unload disabled passengers before parking in space.
The Ability suite is very good - having it's own food area, tvs, and tables to sit down at (along with several loos) but it's also very crowded.
Second favourite ground for access after the KC stadium.

Date submitted : Tuesday 28th Sep 2004 By : agooner When visited Old Trafford : August 2004 Event : versus Norwich Comments : Must just add , worth the trip if only to see the Ability suite. top trip, stay for refreshment after the game and return to car only when the crowd are gone, then the drive out of town is so much easier. You cannot leave the car park until Busby Way is clear in any event and the facilities are simply great.

Southampton
Southampton Comments : A long trip up but well worth it. Ours is a new ground and Old Trafford is old but the facitilites are second to none. Most impressed with everything from the stewards to disabled area and parking. I would reccomend a visit no matter who is playing. Best disabled facilities so far this season.
Date submitted : Sunday 17th Aug 2003 By : agooner When visited Old Trafford : frequently Event : FA Cup semi final Comments : Praise from a Gooner must be rare at Old Trafford, but as one of first to use the Ability Suite (very neat name) I was very impressed, an absolutely 1st class facility. Of course it is possible by virtue of all disabled being congregated in the one area which is not ideal for home supporters I imagine (no choice but not unusual at present)
Would get shot for mentioning it, but with facilities like this, still free tickets and top teams visiting, has to be a top venue for disbabled . The only stadium I have visited in UK with safety nets to protect disabled from loose footballs
Staff are exceedingly good, thanks
