As stated, we managed to find a space to park in a side street, very close to Bullens Road.
Everybody was helpful. Pre-match, some costumed girls came around and handed out some Toffees, and one of the EDSA stewards (WHAT A GREAT IDEA) handed out some Quality Street. (Although it was cold enough to have warranted some soup lol )
There is only one complaint, and I don't blame Everton for this. One of our helpers was told off for standing at the more passionate moments. And, one of our own fans complained (success brings out the armchair supporters in droves, I guess).
I would like to see more room for the helpers. After all, it IS an expensive seat compared to what we are used to in the First Division. It would be purgatory for somebody whose colleague was in a high-backe 'chair. It was a long walk from there, and the away coaches were parked alongside the edge of the park, so not much better if we'd gone by coach.
I saw the wheelchair users entrance, but I was sitting in the stand, which has a quite steep flight of stairs up to the upper tier.
Enjoyed the game, but would of enjoyed it more if we'd won, and I'd done my research about the parking a bit better.

Comments : Comments : The School of Science gets a good mark for effort....increased disabled "home" spaces to a very respectable 83....still has 13 for away disabled fans.....view isn't too stunning.....low'ish setting but from sidelines in front of Lower Bullens Rd and generally ok. EDSA should give you a good welcome. Facilities are ok though the disabled loo's nearest the away area are not very spacious and have poor turning space.....important to some I know. No car parking but side streets do have some disabled bays....again the message has to be....GET THERE EARLY !
6 out of 10 for my own club.....lots of effort and a very good relationship with the club management at all levels.....looking for better things from a new Stadium....somewhere...someday.... It took a lot of hard work but the benifits are well worth it.
