The 442 Interview

You will need to be QUICK!

Due to Holidays we are late getting this in. To apply write to barbs@awads.co.uk telling us your name and address as well as email and telephone number, The club you support and any other info you think is relevant. I will take the first 4 names I recieve with others as backup. This is your chance to have your say so please do take it now!.. (Fans must be from 4 different clubs)

This from 442 Magazine
Every month we run a feature called "And Another Thing..." where we get four football fans round a table in a pub to discuss the issues that effect them as fans. The fans are always from four different clubs, and we do it one of two ways:

1/ Regionally
We'll get fans from a region to talk about football in that area, rivalries, etc. We've done the North East (Sunderland Newcastle, Middlesbrough, Darlington, Hartlepool), and West Yorkshire (Leeds, Bradford,Huddersfield, Halifax) among others.

2/ Types of fans
For example, we've done Teenage Fans, fans who are part of Supporters Trusts, fans from teams who are considered 'Yo-Yo' clubs, international fans, etc.

We thought it would be a very interesting and worthwhile exercise to get four disabled fans together to discuss the issues which effect them as football supporters. Anything from facilities, to the way they are treated by other fans and how their enjoyment is affected - or not - by their disability. We'd also like to take some pictures for the feature.

As mentioned, it would be nice to get a fan from four different clubs so that comparisons can be made, in which case we'd host the feature in a neutral venue and at a time and date that suits all parties. As long as people bring receipts for petrol/publiic transport, all travel costs will be paid for by FourFourTwo and we'll also supply refreshments at the venue.

It would take about an hour and a half altogether.

For it to make the next issue, we'd need to get it done in the next couple of weeks.

If you think you can help or point me in the right direction, I'd be most grateful.

Many Thanks
Louis Massarella
